Does anyone else out there partake in recreational eating? It’s what I call continuing to eat long after I am satisfied because the food is ….. still there.
Last night I made popcorn.
I can not handle the freedom of a large bowl of popcorn.
Neither can my youngest daughter.
She was smashed up against me on the couch as we were watching Iron Man because he is awesome.
I made a giant bowl of non-GOM, organic popcorn. I popped it the old fashioned way (on the stove top). I popped it in coconut oil and sprinkled it with real salt and it was…

There was a giant bowl of popcorn in our laps. She stuffed (another) handful of popcorn in her mouth as she said, “Ugh, my stomach hurts, I’m so full.”
Being the good mommy I am I replied, “If your stomach hurts then stop eating popcorn.”
She said, “But it tastes so good.”
There you have it.
After a big night of recreational eating I need relief.
I don’t take Rolaids, Tums or Pep-to Bismol.
I drink Raw Apple Cider Vinegar.
Next time you feel like puking because you ate something you shouldn’t have (like fast food) or maybe you kept eating after you should have stopped (recreational eating), do this:
Pour a few tablespoons (3-4) of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar into a small glass, add a little water – about 1/4 cup water (just enough so you can get it down).
If you are a wimp like my kids you can add a little honey to make it more palatable.
Slam it and wait 15-20 minutes. You’ll feel good as new.
If you’re not as good as new you can grab your Rolaids – but I don’t think you’ll need it.
